Name Projects
I like to start the year with various name projects because it not only gives me a chance to review their names, it also seems to engage the students. Here are a few of the name projects we created this year:

FIFTH GRADE
FIRST GRADE
Black permanent marker, crayon, and liquid watercolor.

Works in Progress:
SECOND GRADE
Black permanent marker & Mr. Sketch smelly markers.

FOURTH GRADE
I showed them several projects and allowed them to choose their favorite.

FIFTH GRADE
These are the covers of their sketchbooks. We discussed radial design & used Sharpies to draw.

You can view all of our projects at our Artsonia Gallery.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI recently compiled a list of the Top 20 art blogs for educators, and I just
wanted to let you know that you made the list! It
is published online at
http://www.onlinedegrees.org/top-20-art-blogs-for-educators/.
Thanks so much, and if you think your audience would find useful
information in the list or on the site, please feel free to share the
link. The blog is just starting up, so we always appreciate a link
back as we're trying to increase readership.
Thanks again, and have a great day!
Maria
